Superb film scanner
I have been using the Plustek for about three weeks now, scanning ectachrome slides from 1981 in China. The quality of the scans is remarkable.

not for black and white
scanner works well on the whole, but for all these fancy features which have profiles for specific film types, it has trouble reading a black and white negative in grayscales…

Great scanner
Love the scanner. LOTS of options - almost too many!
Great software - again, soooo many options
I haven’t used any other scanner, but this one is ready…

Great Slide Scanner
I had a Microtek 800I before I bought my Plustek 7500I AI.
The Plustek is SO superior to the Microtek, it’s not even funny.

Junk product
Buy the Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED, much better scanner. Made better and the images are much more clear. I couldn’t get the software to work and the Silverfast is clumsy.
