The FSC1VP is a digital film scanner that can scan images at 5.0 Mega pixel quality. With 10 bits per color channel your images will transfer with amazing clarity. The FSC1 also features automatic color balance and exposure control to make the most of all of your 35mm film strips. Included in this package is a 35mm film strip cover and mounted slide cover.

Works, but it is painful.

Lower quality scanning - not worth the time or money
I purchsed this last fall to scan in show slides that would allow me to create a digital portfolio and now when it is needed most, I find the quality is awful!

Not worth the money
Has a strong tendency to overexpose, with no adjustments possible, and is very slow to scan.

Do not buy this scanner
Firstly, it is about the SLOWEST scanner - You first “copy” the picture, then “transfer” it so you can get it onto your hard drive.

VuPoint not for you.
I found the VuPoint scanner not acceptable and I am still waiting for a replacement. My contacts with VuPoint were helpful but the equipment still did not produce acceptable…
